About fluted panels
Slatted MDF panels on a felt or plain backing. They break up a flat wall and take the hard edge off a room that echoes, which is why they turn up behind beds and reception desks.
Fix to battens, or straight onto a sound wall with grab adhesive. Panels butt together so the flute spacing carries across a joint, provided the run is set out from one end. Cut through the flute rather than across it unless the end will be trimmed.
